Assuming you believe in life after death, All the life after death literature I have read long ago used to say bad people went to a bad place ie; some type of lower plane/ Hell but now the popular thing to say such as in " Conversations with God " is that bad people are reincarnated straight away. What do you think? Serious answers please.

, i think possibly there would be a universal law on reincarnation the lives we have led good and bad would not have a moral influence on it . Do you find it inconceivable to think that what we think of as time is a construction . We in the west think of it as linear , Eastern Philosophy a a spiral where we get on an off lifetimes and time at events to help our growth and Karma . And also in the afterlife between reincarnation we could do a life review knowing the pain we have caused people and its repercussions to any soul with any sensitivity this would be hell . One must be a very unfeeling in fact without a spark of humanity to not feel this .
I hope that we have philosophy cafes soon You seem very interested in Philosophy . I also and Art

Until we die, we will never know the true answer to this question. Personally I would like to think that there is life after death and the people who do really bad things are placed away from the many good people, but we will never know until our time comes.

Hell is a mighty strong word, if sounds frightening, that word was use in the past to make all people follow the words of the bible, if people didn't, they were out-casted from the church, they were shunned.

Today's modern world is different now, well in most cultures, we can make our own decisions as to whether we believe in god or not.

I believe that God looks after the good people when we die, we share his heaven, the bad people are place away from us, unless they ask for forgiveness, at the end of the day, if God forgives them then we must. We will all be judged by God at the end of our human life.

Is it too preachy to say that perhaps there is no such thing as a bad person, just a bad upbringing, bad society etc. Then you wouldn't have this question. Who decides who's bad and who's good anyway? Where do you draw the line? As for reincarnation, I don't buy it, but if I did I'd like to put in a request to come back as a pampered cat.

I'm a Christian and I believe in the teachings of the Bible. Many bible believing Christians believe in hell but I'm not one of them. There are too many verses in the Bible describing death as a sleep and Christ Himself is too clear in teaching that the only ones that will receive eternal life are those that believe in Him. Like it or not eternity in hell is still eternal life. Theologians try to teach that the body is mortal but the soul is immortal but that's not biblical teaching. The Bible is very clear that the wicked will be annihilated and the good will life forever with God. Of course you'll get dozens of counter arguments and I don't have enough space here to thoroughly go through it verse by verse. My best suggestion is read the Bible for yourself and ask God to guide you.

Like each physique mentioned, O is a watershow. i'm interior the minority, yet i did not like Ka. i won't be able to clarify why. It had some relatively cool specialy outcomes. It purely did not interest me besides although.

You're asking in the philo section and NOT the Religion section, so I'll answer from a philo perspective.

There is no life after death.
There is no reincarnation.
