Is it a valid genre? Is it oxymoronic? Impossible? The best of all genres?

I believe that it is oxymoronic and should not exist at all. I think it ruins the genre nonfiction.

Memoir falls under the creative nonfiction genre, and memoir is highly valid, and not at all impossible...

Memoirs are very popular. Frank McCourt's memoir, Angela's Ashes, and Tobias Wolff's memoir, This Boy's Life, were turned into movies.

I'm not sure if it is the best of all genres. This is subjective. I suppose it depends on what the reader likes to read.
