Am I the reason why this world/earth is going?

I can't see my face.

Is this world/earth is part of my imagination?

I just can't see my face.

I think the world/earth revolves around me, and I don't know where people came from.

I want to see my whole body and face, just like everybody else can.

TRUE LOVE

Truelove is a sacred flame
That burns eternally,
And none can dim its special glow
Or change its destiny.
True love speaks in tender tones
And hears with gentle ear,
True love gives with open heart
And true love conquers fear.
True love makes no harsh demands
It neither rules nor binds,
And true love holds with gentle hands
The hearts that it entwines.

Lenin believed that a socialist revolution could succeed in Russia if

a revolutions were carried out at the same time in other parts of Europe.
b Russia became an industrial state.
c the peasants owned the land they worked.
d a small group of dedicated revolutionaries controlled the government.

here is an excerpt from my book, I just can't figure it out.

In western Europe, many leading socialists had come to think that socialism could be achieved through gradual and moderate reforms such as higher wages, increased suffrage ,and social welfare programs. Te Bolsheviks rejected this approach. To Lenin, reforms of this nature were merely capitalist tricks to repress the masses. Only revolution, he said, could bring about needed changes.

So far as I know it was the British in their war to suppress Afrikaner independence near the end of Queen Victoria's reign.

Then the Third Reich revived and applied the idea in the 'thirties. Then after WW2 the British recovering Malaya from the defeated Japanese sought to restore colonial rule and I think they built concentration camps to pursue this. Did they perhaps give them some euphemistic name?

Then Mao Tse Tung developed "re-education camps" in China. Then the US in its attempt to prevent Vietnamese independence built "strategic hamlets." Today we see people held without trial or even access to lawyers at Guantanamo Bay. Are all these examples analogs of the concentration camps where the British kept the Boers in isolation? Or is there some significant difference?

Was the practice known prior to the Boer War? Winston Churchill was a war correspondent at the time - did he comment on it?

For me, it would be to be a guitar virtuoso, because I just love those 80's metal riffs, it's great stuff. Unfortuately, I have no musical talent, and the 80's are long over. I wish I could experience it in another life, though, lol.

History has to live with what was here,
clutching and close to fumbling all we had--
it is so dull and gruesome how we die,
unlike writing, life never finishes.
Abel was finished; death is not remote,
a flash-in-the-pan electrifies the skeptic,
his cows crowding like skulls against high-voltage wire,
his baby crying all night like a new machine.
As in our Bibles, white-faced, predatory,
the beautiful, mist-drunken hunter's moon ascends--
a child could give it a face: two holes, two holes,
my eyes, my mouth, between them a skull's no-nose--
O there's a terrifying innocence in my face
drenched with the silver salvage of the mornfrost.

I will be taking a college level research methods course in history this spring. I have to choose a topic to write a 20-page paper on. It much be American history, pre-1900. I'd like to do something from the Revolutionary War or Civil War/Reconstruction Era. I'm having a difficult time choosing a topic that isn't too broad. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your input.
