Hi, you are never too old to dance! I am 31 and have recently gone back to dancing. There are plenty of classes out there for all ages and many different types of dance. Also ignore what people say about ballet! Ok, if you wanted to be a ballet dancer as a professional, then may be any earlier start would of been better, but even some late starters can go far!

Good luck!

Go for it! I have the New York City Ballet Workout tape and one of the young ladies on the tape started when she was 12 and she is a beautiful dancer! If you are willing to put in the time and commitment and not give up- you are not at all too old.I am 34 and I am learning as I never got the opportunity and was highly dicouraged from it when I was younger.
If you have th opportunity then take advantage of it and don't make excuses. You may become a world famous dancer, you may not- but you will never regret taking the opportunity and giving it a shot.

You're not too old to start dancing. My friend Natalya is a great ballerina in the 5th grade, and she dances so well they want to take her to Russia and have her train there. It doesn't matter your age, it's your ability people care about.

Are you crazy? When did you start thinking 13 was old? People learn to do splits starting when they are 60! You are never too old to learn to dance!

You are certainly NOT to old to dance. In ballet, maybe, because they say you should start training at 7yrs but it you're learning ballroom, people at 30-40yrs of age (and older) start to learn to ballroom dance!
Good luck, you're a very talented girl.
