My grandmother asked to find old relatives. The problem I have here is that the last name contains lenghtening marks in it's original language. The last name is Šīrons. It's in Latvian. How do I chane the ame in English? I am Latvian as well, but I just don't know how to do this.

Hey Rudy,

You really made me think on this one. Normally, with English letters, you could use SOUNDEX calculators for spelling variations.

I found some Genealogy Ethnic toolboxes that you might be able to employ.
