“…we take the human function to be a certain kind of life, and take this life to be activity and actions of the soul that involve reason; hence the function of the excellent man (the eudaimon) is to do this well and finely.” (Aristotle; Classics, 245)"

I'm looking for a partner who is well rounded in multiple styles. I do hip-hop, jazz, modern, and some latin. I'm a seventeen year old student and looking to get used to partner dancing before I move to NY in August. Girl must be laid back.

I live around the Northridge area in the Valley.

Don't bother answering if you wouldn't be willing to meet after talking on the phone.

Thanks,
Franklin

Small, busy flames play through the fresh laid coals,
And their faint cracklings o'er our silence creep
Like whispers of the household gods that keep
A gentle empire o'er fraternal souls.
And while, for rhymes, I search around the poles,
Your eyes are fix d, as in poetic sleep,
Upon the lore so voluble and deep,
That aye at fall of night our care condoles.
This is your birth-day Tom, and I rejoice
That thus it passes smoothly, quietly.
Many such eves of gently whisp'ring noise
May we together pass, and calmly try
What are this world s true joys, ere the great voice,
From its fair face, shall bid our spirits fly.

This song played on my launchcast yesterday at work and I looked it up and it looks so plain and stupid. I know the original hustle is plain, but its a classic. And the ChaCha slide is definitly the shiz-nit! But I just cannot see people on the dance floor doing this at a wedding reception or get together.. yall feel me?

Give me a golden pen, and let me lean
On heaped-up flowers, in regions clear, and far;
Bring me a tablet whiter than a star,
Or hand of hymning angel, when 'tis seen
The silver strings of heavenly harp atween:
And let there glide by many a pearly car
Pink robes, and wavy hair, and diamond jar,
And half-discovered wings, and glances keen.
The while let music wander round my ears,
And as it reaches each delicious ending,
Let me write down a line of glorious tone,
And full of many wonders of the spheres:
For what a height my spirit is contending!
'Tis not content so soon to be alone

It SEEMS like one page is covered in these awesome illustrations and the other is words. It never tells you if the child is imaging it or not (but of course he is). The last time I read it was in the third grade so I cant remember much but him being shot through the air in a cannon seems to happen it. I LOVED this book and would like to find it again.

I love to draw; I've been doing it since I was 4. Whenever I hear a song, I get an idea about how I would draw it (it usually involves a person and something they're doing). I have stacks and stacks of inspirations in my mind, just waiting to be drawn out. I have a tablet, too, so I could make it look professional and show it off in a digital gallery. I just have one problem. I CAN'T FINISH DRAWINGS. Usually, the farthest I get is a sketch (in Photoshop, doing it on paper isn't for me) and maybe the start of cleaning up the sketch (I can't even remember the last time I've started coloring something). Then I succumb to a lack of ambition, further interest, and motivation.

How can I stop this? I have at least 20 Photoshop files of just...a few lines... "ugh, I give up." I have so many ideas that I love, and I hate how they all just have to live in my head or in a crappy sketch.
