Seriously, none. I have performed many times in front of large audiences and small and I still get nervous.

The good news, don't worry about it. I just launch myself out there and forget about the people by just being engrossed in my part.

In my opinion, the bigger the audience the easier it is. First of all, don't focus on people. That's the deal. With lights it's easier to just look at them as one big crowd and not a lot of people judging you. Don't focus on anyone particular. Bask in the moment and know that everyone came there to see you. When you avoid the fact that they are judging you and think about they are wanting to enjoy the music as much as you do, that is when you've conquered your fright.

It depends on where you are, and what type of band and how you guys feel about the band. If you don't give a flying rat's left butt cheek how the audience recieves you, then tell yourself that and let loose.

Well.......in my experience a lot of performers have a couple before going on stage. ESPECIALLY bands. It's scary out there..........it gets a little easier when you Jack Daniels with you. (Xanax is also pretty big in the performing arts world.)................I'm not saying all do...........but many DEFINATLY do.
