My great great great uncul was John Jacob Astor. He was supposedly the richest man on the ship. He was talked about and was played as a character in the movie a few times. He saddly died on the Titanic that dreadful night.

what im trying to say is a book when the last line is like a hero waking up from unconciousness, or marching off into the distance. maybe even the last sentance being a question that youre not really sure about.

I take ballroom dance lessons and I am rather good at it. I have been dancing for about 3 years now and I really love it. I have long legs, a skinny frame, so I am made for it.

Anyway, recently I have started a group formation class. For those who don't know what that is, it is when a group of people do the same steps while wearing the same clothes (usually black, plain, makes everything look really cool).

Anyway, at my last lesson, my dancemates were sick or on vacation, so I was the only one there. Me and my instructer got pretty far, and at one point I needed to do this step where I stick my but out and rotates it in a circle.

I am honestly not comfortable with this step. I have a competition coming up for this formation group and so all the girls will be doing this step, but I am embarressed about it.

How can I not be embarressed? I felt so strange while my mom watched (she always does) and my instructor showed me how far to stick it out.

You do everything possible to achieve something but you fail... so is that mean that it's just not meant to be or...?

I know that this type of question is not anything new, people ask it all the time, however any opinions?

i'm trying to be rational about this. i didn't get involved with this person because i knew he didn't love me enough. however, now that he stopped paying attention and it's all over i miss him.

thanx

ps) i'm a firm believer that if a man loves a woman he'll do anyhing to win her heart.

I've been looking for a job recently, and the best I think I might be able to get is as a model for drawing classes in my school's art department (It's really high paying, doesn't require a car and has flexible hours). I was wondering if anybody here has done that before. I'm curious as to whether it's really awkward, comfortable or what exactly. I'm not really shy or anything, but I've also never been nude in front of a group of people before. It's gotta be weird just walking around and running into artists who've drawn you naked, no?

I don't know anyone who's tried this, so I'm not sure who else to ask, hehe.

W.E.B Dubois spoke of the talented tenth of every race and generation that would raise up and be leaders... He said that the answer to the "***** problem" was jobs and education to breed men and so the talented tenth could lead... He spoke of people like Frederich Douglass, and Langston Houghes and since there have been great leaders for change... Now all we seem to see is 50 cent and Kobe Bryant... do you think that our generation is missing the current generation of african americans is neglecting to raise up its leaders that can spark change in urban communities?
