can someone give me any information on how gangs were operated during the 1940s. What did they do? What were there organized crimes. How were they involved in gambling and gambling rings. I really need to know because I'm writing/drawing a comic based in this time and I've been doing all sorts of research.

i think cicciolina was photographed as the virgin mary it looked like a brightly coloured, bordering on gaudy, renaissance painting? I thinkJean Paul gaultier was photographed as well in this style? I cant thinkn of the name, I am sure the artist is known by one name only but I could be wrong/ I remember taschen postcard books had this artist but I cant find it on thier website! Please help me find out who this artist is!!! Its driving me insane! ta!

I love to dance and I love to dance hip hop, but i will also like to get better at it. Plus i want to learn how to breakdance. Do any of you know what I could do to learn. I live in Fay. North Carolina and I dont know where i can find dance lessons or just lessons to break dance. If i could learn on my own what could i buy or do to be able to breakdance?

Here is a link to an example of the font I'm looking for. I'm trying to match it so I can letter the rest pages of a web comic I'm working on. The comic was lettered over four years ago, and I'm trying to pick up where the artist left off. I've been browsing the font websites, and I haven't spotted it yet! When I was a kid I had a series of 3 or 4 books all with a cassette tape you could follow along with. The main character in each book was an animal. The one I remember best was about a dog that had to collect feathers for a pillow and put them in a wheel-barrow to take somewhere...anyway...the moral of the story was "haste makes waste" because he ran so fast with the feathers they all flew out, and he had to collect them all over again. I also remember the covers being pastel colors. Periwinkle...sea foam..light pink.

I like time travel, distant future, post-apocolyptic survial (like the movie The Postman),and plausible story lines. I like S.M. Stirling's books, Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, and Karen Marie Moning's Highlander Series.
I don't like gun-porn (where the guns are lovingly written about in minute detail) non-stop fighting, gratuitious killing or stories that take place 3000 in the future on an alien planet.

The book was about how a witch fell from the sky because her broom lost it's ability to fly and this woman found her a took care of her till she got another witch to help her and left her broom that still had magic with the woman. i accidently washed my one time use camera with my jacket. Will the pictures be ruined? I had it in there for a couple of minutes and then realized what i had done. Can the pictures be saved or should i not even bother to get them developed?

I have some photos that I'm hoping to sell, and I want to maybe mount them, just on a canvas or framed or something. What I'm wondering is where I could get this done, or even get info on prices and places to do it. Does anyone here have any experience or info about that?

I'm also wondering about pricing. What is a going rate for mounted photos? Is there a way I could figure this out? If anyone here could help me out that would be wonderful! Thanks so much.
