Clinton Township (where Partridge Creek is) is about 1/2 hour drive from the city of Detroit. Clinton Township is completely safe. The village of Clinton, Michigan, however, is down by Tecumseh, kind of SE of Jackson.

some shelters house family's, they may want them for the children that stay there. It is a sad thought that children are homeless but they are. I am sure they would love to have a book to read. Here in Kalamazoo they let the family's stay for up to 2 years. I think a book might put a smile on their face.
