i accidently washed my one time use camera with my jacket. Will the pictures be ruined? I had it in there for a couple of minutes and then realized what i had done. Can the pictures be saved or should i not even bother to get them developed?

I'd go ahead and have them developed...probably you paid for the development when you bought the camera, anyway. If it is a digital one use (do they have those???) plug 'er in and see if it works! It won't hurt.

Yes the pictures can be saved. Give them plenty of time to dry and make sure you let the lab who develops them for you know that they got wet. Sometimes the film can stick together or have some water spots on it, but most of the time you can't even tell its been wet.

You failed to mention if it's digital or film. You said one time use camera but there are digital ones of those now. If it were digital, you might actually be in luck because water is unlikely to affect the memory. But if it's film, I'd say keep your fingers crossed but don't be hopeful. The light sensitive part of film is silver halide and that is held to the film with gelatine. Gelatine readily dissolves in water.

let the photo lab know that it got washed. alot of them wont print them at one hour photo labs because it can ruin the chemicals. they will send them out to their out lab though. either way I'd go the cheapest way in case it doesn't come out. try drop box at someplace like walmart. most times you will get something but it will be messed up because the film will stick to itself once it gets wet in spots.
