Think of all the terrible things that might never have happened, or all the wonderful things that would have never happened, and how different the world as we know it would be.

I have called several diffrent talent agency companies, but mostly of them answered me badly. Almost all of them said that I need to have referel only in order to have them as an agent. What is a referel and how can I get them? Please tell me where to get them too, and it will be great if anybody could list me an agency company that does not charge for any fees.

I was debating a right wing American (though this is NOT confined to the Right Wing or America, so no flaming) and he was basing his arguments on the most discredited 'evidence' ever as well as the broadest, most-cliched generalisations.

And I've seen this in many places around the world.
And I have to wonder, do people ENJOY being wrong and KNOWING they are wrong and are being exposed as ignorant and un-educated and, frankly, idiots..
Why do you continue to argue a position you know is flawed, even after the evidence to the contrary is presented to you?

I read a interesting theory of what TROY really might have been.

Wanted to see what yaul think.

Do not base this on the movie but the story over all.

First of all the only thing in "The Illiad" that even links the greeks is that Homer was a greek sailor (well that doesnt mean much).

This is the story as i read it, as to what might have really happened.

Back in about 1100 BC (the date of TROY) sometime before that there was a group called the Celtics (hince names like the Celts), they had come out of the middle east and Africa as the Egyptian empire fell apart. Rome was just forming its empire but barely existed.

the Celtics moved into Europe and would live all over untill the Roman Empire pushed them north into Scandanavia and other non ruled nations.

The bronze age came about because of them, and at one point they found out that Tin would make their bronze items even better.

In a land called TROAD (hince troy) there were a large amount of tin mines. The

I'm doing a cabaret-style show in my hometown, and I have been paired with the housemaster of the local middle school. I, myself, am an English teacher in another district, but I'd like to find something funny, appropriate, and not too difficult to sing with the gentleman. I don't believe he has much experience, although I do. The whole thing is just meant to be a night of good-humored fun and entertainment to raise money for the establishment of a performing arts center in my hometown. But there is a little aspect of competition involved. The "best" act...(and I suppose that could mean the funniest, the most sincere, the most unique, etc.) wins some kind of award. I'd like us to do well, so if anyone has some original, comedic ideas, I'd love to hear them. I have a musical theater background but can't think of too much other than some good ol' standards. (By the way, we can change lyrics, if necessary)! Put on your thinking caps! The best suggestion wins the points!
