If you seek justice, you are not going to be satisfied. If you seek mercy, you feel you need to be forgiven. I don't need to be forgiven for anything...and I like to be satisfied...so as to the seeking...neither.

Justice is more important, though...in full, because true justice is merciful...it is based on merit and that is what is most important in a competitive world.

WOW!!! Good question.
I am not so sure I want mercy for some people, rapists and murderers must face justice and they will have to work on mercy for those they harmed.
But, Justice in this country has not been tried yet, What we do is just "Get even".

Mercy. Especially God's mercy. To be given mercy if a much greater gift than to be given justice.

I would, of course, prefer merciful justice. But if I can only choose one, I would choose mercy.

Justice without mercy is the kind of justice we would expect a computer to dole out - with no regards for circumstances or benefit. That's no world for humans to live in.

Well, it would depend on who is being judged. If it's someone I care about I would seek mercy. If it's not, then I would hope for justice and that would be more important. So I guess nepotism is being activated for me. Interesting.

Mercy...
You just have to remember that mercy can change someone from the inside, while justice only do it physically.

Mercy, as it is closer to compassion than justice.

In this realm JUSTICE is so hard to come by. THERE FORE, I suppose MERCY is the key. GREAT QUESTION...PEACE OF MIND would be a beautiful thing as well+++
