This may come off as a grade school kind of question and there might be a simple answer but, I'm always full of questions and this particular question has been racking my brain! I was wondering when I take a picture why do I appear to look different than mirror image? Is it because in reality I view myself the way I want to see myself? Is it the camera and it's quality? or is it because reality is better looking than a snap shot image? It's hard to explain exactly what I am asking but basically it just seems my camera shot looks distorted or off compared to what I look like in the mirror...you know? And another possibly silly question, is there any explaination to explain if what I see myself as is what other people see me as, as well? Or does it have to be a personal like kind of thing, such as I think I'm pretty but if someone else isn't interested in certain appearence qualities of mine will they view me differently than what I see? best way I can explain it. Thanks for any comments

I just read an article in Cosmogirl and they were asking celebrities what it is like to be vain... this may sound stupid but what i the actually meaning of vain. I look at myself in the mirror alot and I wouldn't call myself vain...its just I am very self- concious. Others may consider that vain and it may be vain but I really just want to know what being vain is?

The Germans were only 20 miles or so outside Moscow at one point in the Winter of 1942. Did Stalin and the Soviet leadership flee the capital during this time, or did they remain there in order to keep morale high?

Even if an envious person has more material things, accomplishments, and position over another person, why would that person be envious of someone who has even less then them? Even small achievements. What is it about the person who reacts in an envious way, usually by some sublte negative comment? Often people in higher places just hate to see another person progress a little in life - Why is that?

I want to mainly do Portrait photography. Since I am a beginner and new to digital I can't see paying a fortune which of course I couldn't afford if I wanted to. But what can give me good results without me losing an arm (or leg) :) Just basic portrait photography for the small town I live in?

I realise my life could be worse and or better but everything seems like a con job if ya dont feel good and havent found something you can live with as far as getting enough exercise to feel good and then makeing enough money to do something besides pay bills, what's the point, all the things I used to think would make life great did'nt and Im realy just tired of trying I guess Im to chicken for hary cary. to much money would be worse and relationships well then there is another problem that would be worse than just waiting to die, maybe I could get some answers on what the heck you like about your life I think it all sucks after a wile I dont think I could ever find anything to do that I could hold on to and be happy with it's just to complicated and full of pitfalls.
