Please help me with this. About 5-6 years ago, I read the most amazing story on the Internet. "Story" isn't really the right word, it was basically a novel. Techinically it was an extremely long "fanfic." But the author said she was eventually going to change the names, take it off the internet, and get it published. And trust me, it was so amazing I have a hard time believing it wouldn't get published.

All traces of her and her work are gone from the internet. I imagine she's been published. But how can I find her book? I did a search on the original title but I got nothing. I also forgot nearly everything about the story. All I know is her first name, Lyn--which may have been a fake name, and she may have published with a different name.

I'm dying to read this story again. I never read the end. But how can I find it? There's got to be a way. Anyone got any advice?

Ok, so I got talking with my grandfather. He basically said that as everything in the world is in a constant state of decay there is no present.

Because as soon as you think about the present, it becomes the past during the time it takes for the neurones to transmit. etc

Therefore, there is only past.

Then again, there's always future...

There are several film numbers from the IGI that I would like to look up. Should I ask someone to go to the FHL in Salt Lake City and print them for me, or should I order the film to be sent to the FHC not far from here? What's the process for odering film? Do all the FHCs have film printing capabilities, and how much does it normally cost? (I wasn't able to find that information online.)

What information should I take with me to generate research leads? I have all of my genealogy stuff on my laptop, and I only occassionally print out charts. Should I take the laptop, or should I just print out information about people I'm actively researching?

Any advice on what I should do while I'm there? I'm planning to make a trip in the next week or two.

I am a beginer writer, I have written many stories, poems, journals such as that, But I want to write a Novel. I love to write but I find that I have a hard time coming up with ideas and then writing short stories, unless its for school. It seems everything is either too short, too boring, or too long.
