I live near seattle and aspire to be an actress, i've looked everwhere for acting classes and auditions, but nothing has come up, or if it does it costs a lot of money. does anybody know where i can audition for commercials or plays or anything in seattle?

I have an original watercolor painting that was heavily soiled during Hurricane Katrina, and I was wondering what the best way to clean it would be, or should I even bother?
The painting itself looks a little dusty, which is a thin layer of muck, consisting of whatever was flaoting around in the water, but it doesn't make the actual image look terribly bad. My concern more than the looks is, will the dirt layer cause the paper to deteriorate faster? Will cleaning it hurt it even more than the dirt itself? How do you clean a watercolor painting? I have cleaned hundreds of oil and acrylic paintings, but they aren't as fragile. I thought since the image stayed during all that water it could be cleaned, but I just don't have a clue how to go about it. Is there a chemical or anything I can use? Know a good restorer? Please help! Thank you in advance! :) By the way tha painting is done with top quality watercolors and is on top quality paper with high rag content.

This is SUCh a hypothetical and weird though, but lets just say that its years into the future. In the present, the gay/ lesbian community has been growing larger and larger and being more accepted as actual people. there are still some people who aren't very 'cool' about having homosexualitry, but a lot of the younger generation is willing to accept it.

So now that everyone's accepting it, can you imagine a future where the majority of poeple were homosexual?? and how it would stigmate the world population?

just wondering. any thoughts?

ok - i read on yahoo today that women can tell from guys faces if they have a hormonal tendency towards being fatherly types or macho men, and that women prefer to have flings with macho men but make husbands out of family guys. so unlike guys, who natural want to get with all women all the time to spread their genes, women have a natural tendency to want a different kind of guy at different times.

of course - in today's society you can't do both. but apparantly in the animal world monogomous animals lke birds, the females 'cheat' with hottie males and have make love to their normal males to keep the nest. in people, women are most likely to cheat when ovulating.

So what if society was built around at least some men getting many partners, other men getting steady sex, and women getting both the mates and flings with no regrets? Its science fiction, but imagine that disease prevention, birth control, and paternity testing eliminated the need for enforced monogamy. Women could commit to a guy for the long term, but still fulfill her desires when nature calls. Naturally, there would be a group of guys who got a lot of different women, and another group that got a steady stream of sex with one.

If you can put yourself in such a world, is it paradise or hell? Who is it best to be? Who is it worst to be? And what role would you most likely play, and why?

If you read the House of Usher, this ques. is for you.
How does the House of Usher remind you of a fire breathing dragon? A sleeping bat? A bed of roses? A lost child?

Thanks in advance! :)

Someone will suffer for your happiness, lets take vegetarians for an example, they will eat veggies in order to fill them up and who or what suffers? The plants people, the plants. Give me an example where this is not the case, and my mind will be at rest.

To live? To reproduce? To eat? To drink? To rule? To be superior than others? To kill? To die?? To become one with oneself? Or to serve a certain higher invisble being in the clouds?
