I'v Been Doing Ballet For Nearly 2 Years Now And I'v Heard Of Demi Pointe Shoes, Or Soft Pointe Shoes....

they are shoes that look like pointe shoes, but it dosent have a shank, so you cant go en pointe, it helps the dancer transition from a regular ballet shoe, to a pointe shoe, so the dancer gets used to the box in their jumps,releves,ron de jombes, etc. they are very helpful, that experience made me more confortable in my pointe shoes.

Well they are basically point shoes without shanks and usually dancers that are getting ready to dance on point wear them they are so the dancers get the feeling of wearing point shoes....this is a good thing for dancers that are trying to get stronger without wearing real point shoes.....i hope i helped

Their like pointe shoes but their just to make your feet stronger for pointe. You can't actually go on full pointe in them because they dont have a shank.
