I often wonder why it is people allow themselfs to be encased in a world they increasingly do not understand? At what point do you just give up on learning about the world and say heck with it and start just enjoying the fruits of others labors? Is this a risky thing to do? I have written a book of poetry (690 pages) and 3 novels (each between 700-900 pages) One story is about my 3 friends who commited suicide. I'm a sophmore in high school and I live in the Pacific NW (washington). I'm really into photography and plan on either majoring or minoring in photography. There was a scholorship/contest for photography that was based in the NW advertised in the paper a couple years ago, but I was too young to enter, and now I can't find it. Does anyone know of either a local or an area-based scholarship contest for high schoolers?
