I'm a sophmore in high school and I live in the Pacific NW (washington). I'm really into photography and plan on either majoring or minoring in photography. There was a scholorship/contest for photography that was based in the NW advertised in the paper a couple years ago, but I was too young to enter, and now I can't find it. Does anyone know of either a local or an area-based scholarship contest for high schoolers?

I don't know what your present school is like, but ask for help. Guidance counselors should be equipped to sit down and assist you in planning for your continuing education and help you look at all your options. Also ask any teachers at your school that teach art or photography. They should be able to give you some kind of direction. Good luck!
