I have written a book of poetry (690 pages) and 3 novels (each between 700-900 pages) One story is about my 3 friends who commited suicide. Another is written like a diary of a girl who was put in a asylum. The last one is about my friend who also killed himself. Anyone have any idea where I can get them published?

Hmm, did your friends kill themselves before or after you read them your 700 pages of poetry? Nevermind.

You can submit your manuscripts to any number of publishing houses (do a search for publishing house online). Or you can self-publish.

1. Incorporate your company (people may even start coming to you to publish their stuff).

2. Get someone to design your cover (it isn't a big deal if you only sell online, but it's a great big deal if you sell in bookstores). Elance.com is a good possibility, or you could go to local art schools and offer that as some work for hire (work for hire means they don't keep the rights to their work). Put up some flyers, you'll likely get some folks who'll do the job on the cheap just for the experience.

3. Elance can also help with designing the layout of your books.

4. All you need now is a printing company. Make sure they keep the books in their warehouse, or print-to-order them (it's a serious mistake to keep thousands of books in your garage... they may not sell as well as you expect).

Hope that helps.
