The selves that we know in this particular physical reality are only a fragment of our total entities, which exist in many dimensions, including the non-physical or spiritual dimension, the dream world, the plane of probabilities (you know, all those choices that you didn't make in this reality are all off-shoots of those possible outcomes), and other physical dimensions or worlds or "planets" if you will, and so much more than we can possibly contemplate!

first to believe it,

then understand it
Then go without it

become it and
let it experience you
for then you will really know it.
