It seems to me that they have. And that is something that should NEVER be forgotten. But, as with any tragedy we'd rather forget it as it fades with time than bring up death and painful memories...not to mention the millions who had to die for some self-important "leaders" to get off their a**es and do something about it. Genocide is still happening, no matter what world you live in...

story was about hospitalized seriously ill people that were awaiting treatment/surgery and during the night someone would come into their room posing as a doctor/nurse and give them a shot that ended their life. All was done for the purpose of doctors saving insurance companies monies and they being rewarded for their efforts to save the money. It was also a secret organization of doctors that were in the group.

Thanks.

I am 26 and me and my wife are living in different states due to work. I want to learn to play an instrument and she plays the violin and said she would give me one to learn with.

I have never played an instrument, and do not know how to read music. Can I at this age really learn this instrument? How difficult is it? Will I ever be able to play by ear?

Several questions ago I asked about the appropriateness of manipulating hypotheticals (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Al2tgGfK2tnd9ffbV7S7.yjsy6IX?qid=20061129032257AArF4fE) when the elements therein aren't very implausible. What I want to do here is give an example of the kind of manipulation I was thinking of, but my example will probably be controversial and offensive to some.

In the question, linked below, the asker, albeit without as much tact as perhaps he could have used, asked men how they would respond to women that are not sexually giving or receiving. My own answer was not the most respectful either. But my problem is that several respondents apparently assumed that the women were likely not as defined, and that the problem is likely one of a man not being "romantic" enough. While that's possibly true in most cases in real life, does not the asker have the right, even if insensitive, to ask a question using specific character models?

Where should more money go?
To help the leading edge of society's best and brightest maximise their (and society's) potential for brilliance or to support the needy and borderline cases of society?
