I had to read an essay for the LSAT that said blacks did EVERYTHING on the plantation. Built the fancy houses, made elegant carriages, decided what and when to plant and when to harvest. The only thing whites were credited with doing was gambling and raising militias to keep the slaves working. If any or all of this is true no one could have thought blacks inferior. So did they start this propaganda after slavery? Perhaps to keep a well trained work force from competing for jobs?

During the early Victorian era, how were prostitues viewed as? What if they say they were changed, that they wanted to now live as a good person and began to attend church, how would people treat her?? Was society (let's say, society of a small secluded village) a bit violent towards prostitues, like...... for what reason would people try and get ride of a prostitute from their community??

If a civilization is taught to belive they are all sheep of a higher being...then are we capable of being better than the sheperd?

To be more direct, if we birth a child or paint a picture, than does that make us a God of our own existence?

Mrs.A's daughter (Ellen) eloped with a poor guy,and Ellen dies after having a miscarriage. Mrs.A has a deep scar: she feels betrayed by her daughter, and always repeats to herself "if only she had listened to me!"

Then, a girl name Ann (16yrs old) becomes the ward of Mrs.A's handsome but apathetic cousin,Mr. Rutherford. Ann reminds Mrs.A of Ellen--Ann is spirited and strong-headed. Mrs.A feels it her duty to direct Ann down the right path."Ann will die like Ellen if she doesn't obey me!" thinks Mrs.A.

So, when Mr.Rutherford passes Charlote down to Mrs.A's care.Ann is devastated cuz she was in love with Mr.Rutherford (a childish infatuation?)

Mrs.A becomes a bit violent at times. She shatters Ann's self-confidence,and also makes Ann physically weak. Mrs.A feels that if Ann relies on her, mind and body, then Ann wont go the wrong path....

And then 3yrs later,Mr.Rutherford returns, and sees how much Ann has changed. Ann blames him for what she has become. There's romance too~

Just wondrin', do girls really mean it when they say that being a woman is a lot more difficult... I mean, I'm pretty sure they've never tried being a man... Same with the boys, do we men really can say that we had an easier life than girls do??

Think about how men are treated... compare it to how girls are being looked at such as "social status"...

Consider the natural occurrences among girls and with the boys, such as "monthly period", "wet dreams"...

Also, consider the common activities of men and women such as "basketball", "household chores", and many more...

Note: Your answers might sound too disturbing...ü

Poems or song lyrics about preteen girls?
See the song is for my english assignment and i need to find an example of how young girls (8-12) are represented in texts. I need to find a poem or song that talks about young girls wanting to be older or growing up way too fast, or acting older than they should...so that i can analyse it. i cannot write one myself.

Help with my story!?
Charlotte goes under the gaurdianship of her distant cousin, Mr. Rutherford. (What should is character be like?? The "arrogant and cold" kinda character seems too cliche these days.....but then I don't want him to be a friendly gentleman. Doesn't work out with me) Charlotte falls in love with him.......but why shouldn't Mr. Rutherford fall in love with her?? She's 16 yrs old at this time, and when he leaves her, and returns from Paris 3 years later to see she's all grown up he falls in love with her??? I don't know, give me to physcological reason of why Mr. Rutherford shouldn't like Charlotte in the beginning. Like....he likes her......but not enough??
