Should we judge a person by the intent or affects/ effects of his actions, and do we try enough to prove or disprove his responsibility for those affects/effects and the validity of the supposed motives behind his actions?

Let them grow to their own true selves,
This is a height so high.
Or shrink them small with your anger,
After all to you, they are.

They are so weak and innocent,
So feed the innocent well,
Not just with food but also love,
Or feed them fear instead.

Through your hatred or through your love,
The innocent will grow.
Where will they place the fear you gave,
But to the people they once were.

Your desease of anger'll be alive,
Long after you are gone.
They no longer will be innocent,
Like you they shall be evil.

The set of books is "Great Books of the Modern World" by Encyclopaedia Britannica Inc. I don't care if they are used or not, so long as they are easily readable and with no pages missing.

Most of my great-aunts/uncles were born at home in the 1910s & 1920s. There was no nurse or midwife present, so the parents could lie about the ages. and thus no birth certificate Other than the cencus records for the home they were placed in (which none of them can recall which one it was.) How do I find the birth records? The only one I've found has three names & dates crossed out on it.

When entering in book publisher locations into a inventory system which allows for the following "City, State, Country" Which is the correct usage?
London, UK
London, England, UK
London, Great Britian
Some of these books are very old, so would it be better to set the standard for time periods? For example a book printed in Virginia Colony would say "Virginia Colony, British Empire"
I am my own boss & I am trying for consistancy.
Any ideas?
