I would assume that in the future, the things that make us human would be slowly be eliminated. We see it now, in that people are becoming less inclinded to age gracefully. We are increasingly using more waxing to get rid of hair, the last remmenants of our animalic orgins. And as we progress through time, we are teaching ourslefs even more lessons, and customs which differentiate us from the animals.
With new technology becoming human, or having flaws will become less common place. Currently which is more desirable a man with a hairy back or a skinless addonis? Every new techique is used to shape our own vision of humanity, further away from nature and more near the drearly machine and idea filled world of today. With genetics we can screen out babies with defects, we are becoming closer to desiger babies.
As time progess all 'dirty' and 'ugly' aspects of humainty will be curtailed, the question being is the fart a ugly or beautiful aspect of humanity. I believe that this will be a individualist choice.

I'm looking now, far, far into the future for the erupting sounds of flatulence. Through my Crystal ball I'm shocked at what I see. No beans, no cabbage, no cauliflower or broccoli or other fart fair! Life has became boring as I see a man watching Sunday football with his buddies and the room is silent, except for the game on the TV. Oh dear me, it's a sad day in the neighborhood as all signs of flatulence has ceased. Oh my God! What has the world came to! No fart fair for the fellows to find. I fear to report back to you that the future of farts is dwindling fast and flatulence has passed.

Probably, when we pollute the planet Earth and have to go live in Outer Space. We'd have to limit waste so maybe we might not have to eat solid food...just liquid to make pee-pee. How do you like my take on the future? Like what you see?
Recycle NOW and save the planet!

Until we no longer need to eat and therefore excrete waste, we will have to fart, so I guess the easiest answer is no.

Humans grasp on to air like they grasp on to; words, things and food. It a natural to take more that you can chew. I think there will be no change, but for you and I it will be louder, because we will be using hearing aides by then.

I hope that day never comes. It's bad enough people don't like adults that wear diapers everywhere.
