Very narrow-minded actually.

You think we're the only ones in this infinite universe? Stop watching TV, go outside and get a life, if you think that way. There is definately life out there and plenty of evidence has shown in the last 50 years.

Set the whole world aside for now,
Stand for two minutes silence,
This is our so called surrow,
For the dead we never knew.

This must be what they wanted,
After such a tragedy,
Yet still I think through this silence,
Is this what he wanted too?

If this time is dedicated,
To the victims of this time,
Why is my heart screaming so loud,
Revenge, revenge, revenge.

The hated man's ultimate dream,
Was an impact on this world,
Then why after his acts of evil,
Have we handed this to him?

I'm new to painting. I recently tried paining a 11x14 stretch cotton canvas one color (green). As I was painting, I noticed that the paint would not spread evenly. Instead, it would be thicker at some points then thinner at others leaving it dark and light after drying. I did not mix the acrylic paint with anything, just used it straight out of the tube. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

West Berlin was not legally part of the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) and despite Communist claims, east Berlin was not legally part of the German Democratic Republic (East Germany). Territory to the east which fell within the 1937 frontiers of the German Reich but was not included within the borders of either post-war German state was technically under Polish and Soviet administration, but not officially annexed by those countries. And the last government of the Third Reich, headed by Grand Admiral Karl Doenitz, was not abolished, merely declared "incapable of acting" by the Allies.

Does this mean that, until the treaties permitting unification to come about in 1990, the German Reich technically continued to exist in Greater Berlin and the Laender of East Prussia, Upper Silesia, Lower Silesia, Pommerania and east Brandenburg?

What is the legal status of the territories east of the Oder-Neisse Line today? Have they been formally annexed by Poland and Russia?

I work in children's bookstore and read tons of the childrens book for both pleasure and so I can recommend them, but I'm having trouble reading the Series of Unfortunate Events. I read the first two in a couple of hours and I thought they were cute, but without much substance and haven't picked them up since.

I was wondering if anyone out there had read them all and can tell me if its worth reading them all. I know they're popular, but is there something about them that just appeals to the really young? And I know they all interconnect, but does it all really lead up to a big secret? Is it one of those things thats fun to find out a peice at a time as you read the books or should I just stick with the two I've read?

Thanks.
