Time, as we know it goes backward forever,
and goes forward forever.
Science proves this. "Matter can neither be
created nor destroyed".
No matter how far backward or forward you go,
you will find matter. Forever.

Time is a human construct enabling humantiy to explain and understand certain truths:
We remember what came before.
We experience what comes know.
We interpolate what is to come.
Scientifically, time allows humanity to explain the expansion of the universe.

Time is a concept invented by man an probably started when he first noted the orbits of the stars, sun and moon long before the wrist watch!
Other than that , time is probably as old as "space is wide" or "thought is thoughtfull!"

time is like a piece of string how long is it? time manmade to suit humankind it is we who say that someone should be somewhere at a certaiin time.a least intelligent animal than a human doesnt look at awatch and say time to eat. when there was no time in the world surely we lived by the setting sun the seasons the darkness of night when people were hungry they eat not at a certain time but when they were ready to eat. imagine if you were going for a job interview and yourprospective employer said i shall see you today before the sun goes down.....or your appointment is at 9 oclock the bus leaves 2 mins early you get a taxi the traffic is bad all that time ebbing away and for what time has put pressures on us all and i believe........gotta go time for my coffee. ha

wrong question.
time is not old, because time has no age.
time is merely the vivid impression that your mind has as it travels along its timespace vector.
or how about this?
time has been forever. there is no time before time in which time was still absent... nor will there be a time after the end of time in which time will be absent... there is no time for it to be absent in.
that means time is endless, so you cannot ask how old it is... it is like asking how big infinity is...

Time is as old as when man first created it. Maybe the Egyptians or Mayans created the concept of time or maybe it was before them?

Time came into being when humans realized it exists. We then said it existed prior to that, but that's only in our minds. Everything is relative, isn't it?
