All of her books have the same damsel-in-distress plot. I have read so many of her books that I got sick of it. I believe that it has something to do with a railroad and someone dying or something like that, but I don't remember it that well. It has been a year or two since I have read one of her books.

I didn't finish it....I thought that it had an abnormal amount of cussing in it compared with most of Mary Higgins Clarks book. The doctor had some major problems though....he killed his own patients! Good plot, but like I said I stopped reading it because of the cussing.

The chick is not who she thinks she is right the pictures in the small cottage are of her right? I have read the book and I believe I own it. I own others of her books. I could be wrong I have read a lot of books. Don't get me started on V.C. Andrews I read like 4 or 5 of that searies, not books but the 5 book searies.

It was a good read and I would recommend it; Prove I read it?
Her writing style beats V.C. Andrews hands down !
Ok, I couldn't put the book down, stayed up way too late finishing it and loved every minute of it!
