I need to know how I can increase my self confidence. I'm going to try out for the school musical and I'm soo shy. I have to sing part of a song by myself and I don't know why but I feel like I just can't. I've been singing in chorus in school for five years and I haven't overcome this fear yet, I need to. I just need people to tell me things I can do to help me do this. Thank you all in advance.

I am creating a website with my art to bring back the original purpose of the rainbow--as a covenant between God and man. We all know it as a symbol of corruption, and when we see it we automatically think anything but God. I am working on a flash animation that will use symbols like the pyramid, clouds and the rainbow to depict it as a true vision of the Lord. The Lord is described as a green rainbow in Rev. 4:3, (think Emerald city from the Wizard of OZ) and want to make it appear after a flood, or some haphazard event perhaps. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is to benefit the all those on the cusp of belief!

Its a book I read in 4th grade, Its for younger kids and teens. Its about a girl who goes to live with her 2 aunts and they make her like their slave. And if you do well you get a peppermint. If you stole one you are punished. I rememeber something about her father comming back later in the story. I really need to know what this book is called!!! Please help ASAP!!!!!

I just started learning photography in June. I am told that I take beautiful photos and, that I have an eye for composition, by both amateur and professional photographers. A few people have told me that my photos are better than some people out there that call themselves professionals. This positive feedback after only a few months of work has me considering pursuit of a career in photography. My question is, I realized that most of the pictures I take are of beautiful scenery thus, I am producing beautiful photos. How do I gauge if I have the talent to be a photographer or, if I just have an eye for beautiful scenery?

I have always wanted to be Clara in our yearly performance of "The Nutcracker".I think there are other people who have better chances because of there famlies "helpfulness" to the company.

I need to know how to tell the company director I would like this part in a somewhat subtle way. I don't want to be pushy like some people I know, but I still want them to know I'm there and that I think I would be good for the part.

I would really appricate any help I can get.

P.S This is not a very large company and there is a lot of nepitisim going on.

I know what it's like to have emotions. They give me feelings and the motivation for living. I just don't understand why life saw fit to develop them. When did emotions become a staple of life? I'm assuming that lower lifeforms such as bacteria don't have emotions.

Are emotions necessary to life?
