My opinion on the book is that I feel justice was never served. What do you think about the story for those who read it?

Its really sad. I read it a couple years ago. It was so brutal and I can't imagine how a mother could do that to her son. I really appreciated my mom afterwards. Did you read The Lost Boy and A Man Named Dave? They're the continuation after A Child Called It. They're all really good books. I could really feel for Dave Pelzer in A Child Called It. He is an awesome writer and also an awesome person who did a lot in his life. He is now helping others, and I admire him so much for that.

it was not only a great book but a great starter to a great series. the books that follow just inspire people to look at life and find its positive aspects. it is a good book about survival and strenght that make you realize that sometimes your problems aren't as big as they seem

That's the point! Dave learned to forgive his mother for what she did. Justice is not the issue. He overcame his trauma and he was able to forgive her. I thought it was a great book!
