I am a guitar player of two years, and am of decent talent. I also played clarinet and saxophone but both of those were more than five years ago. My question is, how difficult is it to go from playing the guitar to the fiddle? Has anyone here done it?

I've heard the virtue of humility be praised time and time again but I can't help but feel like constant humility is counter-productive. To what amount should one practice it?

Sex...The human' #1 pleasure is always associated with dirt, dirty
talk, dirty stories, etc... is it just because of the other function of the sex organs or there's more to it, Personally I believe it's a way to tell the human beings that they're not unique creatures and far from perfection!!

Ok so i have nothing to do now that me and my g/f broke up. I am lonely and have no friends where i live. So now alll i have been doing is burying my head in books to try and keep my mind off of her. People give me some good books that you have read that stick out and you could read over and over again. I don't want love novels or anything like that.

I want to advertise a very genius book that has been overlooked.
"Gone Awry: Gone Awry: A Virtual Tour Through High Tech Hell" by James Ignizio. I know this author's niece. This is a book that would make both Christians and Athiests laugh.

Does anyone have any other overlooked masterpieces in mind? Please share!

Computers can already computate at rates that are million times faster than human beings. If they ever achieve levels of awareness and logic similar to humans, won't they eventually become more intelligent than humans themselves?

What are the implications of having something more intelligent than human beings? Is it a threat to our survival? Should we allow such an intelligence to exist?

I decided to try and learn how to play guitar recently.

My uncle let me borrow his classic guitar, but the next day after reading up on guitars, I learned that the fret board on a classic is wider. I had been experiencing difficulty getting my fingers all the way around to the low E string.

If I get a regular acoustic guitar, will the difference in fret boards be significant enough to help me?
