I want to advertise a very genius book that has been overlooked.
"Gone Awry: Gone Awry: A Virtual Tour Through High Tech Hell" by James Ignizio. I know this author's niece. This is a book that would make both Christians and Athiests laugh.

Does anyone have any other overlooked masterpieces in mind? Please share!

My choice would be the blockbuster trilogy of works by John Dos Passos, called, "The U.S.A." (The 42nd Parallel, Nineteen-Nineteen, The Big Money).

Albert Camus referred to this anthology as the most important literary achievement of the first half of the twentieth century, and he was right. It's a powerhouse; and almost nobody outside of academe has ever heard of it. A great pity.

Lamb by Christopher Moore which describes the missing years of Jesus Christ by way of his fictional best friend Levi aka Biff. Surprisingly touching and though fictional offers a wonderful perspective that might scare some Christians but which made a wonderful book.

A Boy's Life by Robert McCammon which describes the strange occurrences of a small town in a wonderfully poignant way. One of my favorite books of all time.
