I agree, and the Iranian people are super as well.
The problem lies with the religious fundamentalists
who have destroyed this country and continue to do
so at any expense.
How sad to see such a rich culture destroyed.
See, there we go with religion, once again.

Iran's history maybe great.
It is a beautiful country - could be.
But right now, Iran is a threat to the world's society with its fundamental Islam and the crazy crazy leader that spins all of the world into turmoil!!!

Since you've asked about Iran, I have to recommend a movie - Children of Heaven - English subtitles. It gave me, as an American, a real appreciation of the beauty and vision of the Iranian filmmaker. One of the sweetest and most heartrending movies I've ever seen.

I know little about it's beauty, but politically, it is very dangerous. Just tonight, my husband and I were debating whether the Iranian president or Adolph Hitler was more dangerous. We never arrived at a conclusion. Only time will tell.

Iran is a strategic country . we have oil and gas yery much but it caused our misfourtunity . it rains very little. there is cultural heritage very much but very few tourist come Iran.we have very political , cultural, economical , sociological problems.
