This painting is 8X10. on back of ptng is a note saying THE ART CENTER GALLERY; 1492 South Coast Blvd; Laguna Beach, CA. Write "Marta" c/o Gallery; (telephone # HY. 4-8375). Reprint oil by Jensen. S. California.
Floral painting(yellow, blue, mauve, red flowers) The flowers have a lot of medium in them to make them raised off of the canvas. It makes them look like they are growing out of the canvas itself. Can anyone identify this artist and time era? Help

My Way

If I had it my way, no one would get hurt.
Everyone would be happy. It would be ok to flirt.
Breakups would be easy, no name-calling and such.
A lot more "I love you's", and less "I hate you so much"!
We need to take gentle care, of how our feelings are spread.
For if we are not careful, we can snap that tiny thread.
Telling people how you feel works better in the end.
You won't feel so bloated, if you tell that special friend.
Take that giant leap, into that world unknown.
You might gain a seed of love, from which life will grow.
If you waste too much time, to tell someone you care,
that chance may never come again, to send your voice into the air.
We get too old, way too fast, and life gets complicated.
If you didn't tell that person, you'll wish you never waited.
So do it my way.

like in all those mangas and animes.
supposed a virus broke out in our world, but people say that the virus brings everyone to another existence level, us being energy entities or something like that. it's prooved, that it would transfer us.
would you accept this and follow through to your next existance level? How would you feel if something like that is going to happen?

Ca anyone recommend a good, up to date Noam Chomsky book to read. One that can give me a good idea of his views generally.

I'm a college graduate, and I'm looking at going to Grad School for a Masters in Education. I've read a lot of American Classics, but I am looking for an extensive list of International & American Classics, that I should make sure I've read, so that I may consider myself a "well-read" individual. I'd be interested to hear, also, what books you have been "made to read" as part of your studies. What books are Classics that you enjoyed the most? Please help me come up with a good list of books I should tackle with the rest of this summer. Thanks y'all! :)

I've never found a definitive answer to this. Most of what I read seems speculative. What is meant by "civilization" precisely? is it simply a more developed social system than primitive groups? if someone has a link to this info, i would greatly appreciate it. thanks
