The thing is Rap & R&B have predominetley sung and rapped by black people, just like rock & roll has been predomentley white.I don't want you to be deterred Teena Marie is white and she's a phenomenal singer who sings R&B.Whites aren't the same as blacks because it was never meant to be that way.Embarce who you are and love it whether you are black or white.

rap hip-hop was born from the streets and ghettos of some of the worst neighborhoods in america. lots of whites don't live in those areas. and when whites come into the rap game they never get the FULL respect black rappers do.

Rap and hip hop came from urban areas were mostly black people grew up! (the hardcore areas). Rap and hip hop became a thing were black people were able to talk about there feelings and what they been through to the world. But now they took it to the extreme talking about killing people and sex, degrating women! I think its obserb now!

Whites can sing and play instruments. not just talk fast and rhyme in a microphone with the same 4 or 5 notes just repeating and call that a hard core song. you can't call yourself a musician if your dancing without an instrument in your hand.
