Has anyone ever seen Miss Saigon, or any other musical that you thought was great? I saw it and I thought it was amazing. I am looking forward to seeing Les Miserables soon too. I can't wait. I have seen Phantom of the Opera twice and it is incredible!

I'm a guy who makes freeware games with tools such as MultiMedia Fusion (www.clickteam.com). I am able to do both graphics and coding. However, I don't know how to make music. Usually, I'd try to find someone online who is good at this and ask them but a lot of times people will make music that doesn't really match the type of game I'm making. Therefore, I want to make my own music.

But, how do you learn to do this? Anytime I go anywhere near a keyboard I end up just making random noise. I have no sense of rhythm or anything. I once knew a guy online who was able to make music on anything. He'd send me music that he made on the SNES game Mario Paint. He was even able to make music on programs such as ModPlug tracker that requires you to input each note by hand. I tried to ask him how he learned to do this but he told me that he never took any music lessons or anything.

I want to have this sort of skill, or atleast be able to play music on a keyboard. How do I learn to do this?

I am researching the 1963 film Saladin, directed by Youssef Chahine for my MA Thesis. I have read a number of places that it is based upon a novel written by Naguib Mahfouz, the famous Egyptian writer. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out which one it was.

I am currently working on a story, I have no idea how long it will be, but I was in a strange mood when I wrote my favorite part - the beginning. I re-read it a little bit ago and realized that even though the story is about someone with mental problems, it might be a bit too trippy.

"I’m alive. I don’t know how or why, but I am. I realize that I am a living, breathing creature and a curious emotion, an understanding, washes over me. I remember that I can think, I remember that everyone I know can think, then I remember that I can remember. I realize that I’m real, I’m not some fictional character in a badly written novel or film; I am a human. But as I question and look for proof that I am real, the understanding slips away and I forget what I so clearly understood.

There is more... Hold on, I ran out of room I'll put it in the details.

I've been invited to a 'friends re-united' thing by someone who stole my boyfriend away. I had buried it until the invite. It's all water under the bridge but I'm writing a semi autobiographical novel and this looks like promising material for a chapter and I'd like to ask a few questions of them both. Yes or no?

an epiphany/ sudden realization about life??

I was caught in traffic one day and turned around and saw this bus beside my car. the bus driver was singing along to his headphones, having a donut and coffee, and when he saw me he gave me a big smile and waved. He seemed to be enjoying himself so much just driving the bus that I couldn't help but smile back.
And then I suddenly realized that life is beautiful. it doesn't take a lot to be happy, it comes from within. You can be happy doing anything.

I don't mean smarter. I know that humans are the "smartest" species.
Yet look at us, living complicated lives, creating wars, letting members of our species starve just because they don't have pieces of green paper to buy food and polluting the environment. Slaving away our entire lives working for some idiot than inherited a corporation and millions from his parents without moving a muscle.
Look at us, wating our lives with meaningless jobs, worrying about love and philosophical questions that we cannot answer, fighting against each other in a stupid rat-race.
And then look at the animals, only worrying about the basic stuff, having food, shelter and being happy with so little. They don't complicate their lives with ideologies, nationalities, racial discrimination, religion, or meaningless jobs. They don't ask what's their purpose in life, they just live and enjoy the ride.
Look at the birds singing, at the dogs frolicking in the grass, at the dolphins jumping happily.

I'm looking for any genre of book that's good for a woman that's just recently been opened up to her femininity! I've been oppressed. I've already got the Vagina Monologues and Mama Gena's Guide to Womanly Arts. Would you please list some of your own? No romance novels whatsoever, please. I'm not interested an any book if I'll find it in the romance novels section. However, fiction, self-help, health, sexuality, and history are all fine genres. I'm looking for something about maybe bigger women, getting over men from bad relationships, getting in touch with sexuality and pleasure, or maybe self-esteem. Thanks for you help.

I need some honest opinions, and criticism. And how I can make it better. I just started, and right now I'm just experimenting with angles and things in the garden in my backyard. Also, the site took quite a while to make. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. =)

Now a days people can kill their children with it being totally acceptable. It's called abortion, which really means killing inocent babies. Those babies have a life and a soul. Isn't murdering an adult or a kid murder? Why is it any different about a baby in the stomach? There is none! God has given a life to the child and he/she deserves to live. It should be illegal to murder these babies! Before God it is totally wrong and sinful!
