I just read it recently,but now I can't find it. I think it was called a soldiers prayer. The only line I can remember is : it's cold at night" or "it gets cold at night". I search on line but can't find it. It is not about Christmas ( I found a lot of those. Please help. My son is in the Army and leaving for the middle east soon. I would like for him to have the poem before he leaves.

I just finished reading "Uncle Silas" and now I'm raring to get at another mid-1800's horror or ghost thriller. Really anything written before the 20th century is fine, I'm in an old-fashioned book mood right now. I want something really scary and suspenseful! Does anyone know of anything good?

Is it the end of the world, a raise in consiousness or sumthing else.
Im confused about it all. Heaps of prophets predict something 4 this time. the pyramids have it in them. the Mayan calender ends that year.
