I've written one letter (atleast) everyday to my Marine. Most of them he never sees, it's a present he'll get for his birthday (they started the day of his birthday). But recently we had a fight, I was wondering if it's stupid to keep writing letters even though we may not get over this fight.

Words rhyme right on time
Marry rhythm to the rhyme
Scary minds take blind eyes
Show them the truth outside
The streets beyond your sheets

Where strangers hide behind pride
This cut-and-paste poetry doesn’t flow with me
Like this epic theology
Antidote to bureaucracy
These concrete dreams rule this democracy

You’ve got your urban myths and folklore
Old history books are such a bore
Who really knows what’s in store
As we repeat ourselves the same way
We have done ourselves in before

Speak the unspeakable
Life is consequential
Ain’t no notion of living history
Private thoughts in public mislead
The truth hides behind a silent veil of mystery

Sing the unspeakable
More than half-truths that feel rhetorical
These bombed-out buildings stand here
Because war acts on the metaphorical
Why do you take on your tormentor’s language

In questions of identity
Answers only please
The only form of reciprocity
While your girls go get some ice
They get busted because they didn’t think twice

Who follows the shadows to the spaces
Where they hide those impure faces
They live and die by their disgraces
Soldiers say rebels should know their place
As day’s white light disappears without a trace

Under Ronald Reagan's first term in office he asked a Science Lab of a renowned Think Tank to ascertain the Color/Race of Adam & Eve. Phil Donahue at the time who was the number one talk show host in the country aired the answer on his show. Can you tell me what color was the original Parents of the Human Race?

I wrote four children's stories, but I don't know how to go about publishing them. I do not want to loose too much control and I do not have enough money to self publish them. I also need them illustrated.

I've always wondered if avid readers do this; and I'd love to do that, but it just doesn't seem "feasible".

I am writing a birthday card to a friend (kind of), and I need help with some ideas for the imagery I could use. He and I have been friends for about 6 months, and we both feel like God is pushing us o date one another, although we are both in circumstances where we feel we should wait before dating someone. (We're both completely single, before you start wondering) Anyhow, he and I both enjoy poetic imagery, and I was going to liken our friendship to that of a seedling planted by God. Something along the lines of not wanting to rush the tree, because it needs to grow first, and not knowing how high the tree will grow in the end, because only God can know that.

Besides being a bit sappy (no pun intended), do you think it translates? Can you think of a better image that would suit the friendship I described? I really appreciate your input.
