I've written one letter (atleast) everyday to my Marine. Most of them he never sees, it's a present he'll get for his birthday (they started the day of his birthday). But recently we had a fight, I was wondering if it's stupid to keep writing letters even though we may not get over this fight.

Never stop writing letters. Imagine if he stopped writing you. A lot of guys don't want to admit that they love to get letters from their girl, especially someone in the military. When you say "we may not get over this fight" do you mean that it's more than just an arguement? Are you implying that you're honestly not speaking to eachother? You have no contact what so ever? If that's the case you may want to move on. If it makes you feel more productive, keep writing. One day, send them to him, he'll see what all you went through. If, in the end you feel like you still love him, let that be the last letter.

If you keep writing, there is nothing else better than a letter from a person from home Except a package with goodies and a letter.

writing letters to him for him to read later might help the two of you get over the fight. Try to be expressive in your next letter to him. Tell him how much he means to you, tell him how you feel about the fight and how you would hate things to end. Communicating helps relationships to heal even when things seem too broken and messed up.

no of course its not stupid. u should keep writing the letters 2 him so that the letters he does get he will know ur writing him and u care about him still. and i truly hope u 2 get over this fight.

Letters aren't stupid, they are a dying art. Keep writing him. You probably will get over your fight, and I am assuming that he's far away. He needs the encouragement your letters can bring.

Oh my god no!!! Writing letters is anything but stupid--and when your Marine gets these letters, and/if/or you make up from this fight, he will be overwhelmingly pleased by your efforts.

I have no answer except that life in the military is very hard and I feel for you. I hope that you stay together. Hopefully, for your sake, he will leave such a demanding and risky career.
