Put whatever you have down and try to relax for a moment. Is this really a choice you want to make?

If you KNOW that it is a stupid thing you are about to do, I would strongly discourage it!
If it is something that you aren't certain is stupid, but someone else advised you that it was, I would encourage putting it off until you know determine for yourself if it IS indeed stupid.
sounds like you've already determined that though.
If you ask a stupid question, you get a stupid answer.
If you engage in Stupid behaviour.....well, you probably won't like the results.
You're much too smart to engage in stupid behaviour. Much too noble too, I've stalked you already (wink wink)

It would be far easier to discourage you if I knew what the stupid thing is.
Please do not do something stupid. Especially if it involves harming yourself.
Don't do anything stupid. You are too smart for that. Good luck.

Doing somthing stupid when you dont realise it is acceptable, humans make mistakes but knowingly doing somthing stupid is rediculous. The question is why, why put yourself and others through the anxiety and pain that comes from stupidity.....see a Dr if necessary or just get up and go for a walk, a brisk 1/2 hour walk.

Remember it take a long time to get a good reputation and only one stupid thing to ruin it.
Be VERY careful if you are thinking about something you can't reverse. Life isn't a video game, there is no "Start over" button.

If you know your action is Stupid, then dont do it - take a little personal responsibility for your life and stop expecting others to provide you with an excuse for your actions.

OK, pretend you did it.
How do you feel now, knowing you had the chance to restrain yourself but didn't have the strength?
Pretty stupid, huh?
Only you can't take it back.
Don't do ANYTHING for 10 minutes. That will give you time to switch gears, my friend....

I might think it's something brilliant, so would be reluctant to discourage you...So, what is it? Just discouraging you in general is useless.

Since you already know what it is, why do you want us to discourage you when you can do that for yourself very well?
You are your best well wisher, aren't you?
