I assume if USA had not got involved in World War II, the Axis would have definitely won the World War II...
What kind of world we'd have nowadays then? Especially what kind of USA we'd have then? I believe it's highly unlikely USA become a SUPERPOWER nation... I'm afraid that after the Axis conquering the whole Europe and Asia Pacific, Germany and Italy will invade USA from the East Coast while Japan simultaneously invade the whole West Coast... but who knows?

Though dripping roses and tattered hearts
Stand alone as the vengance starts
With forgotten memories and broken dreams
No vision held is what it seems

While an eternity locked within myself
Has driven my soul to the grave
An eternity spent without love
Has made me no more than a slave

The dream kept me going for many years
Giving me strength to hold back the tears
The tears of emptyness and thoughts of pain
As my world turns to hatred
I drive me insane

I started a painting last night and stopped around 8pm. Now it is noon and it is still wet. Is this normal? When will it dry?

I've finally decided to go for the dream but I want proper training by a school that has an exceptional reputation, so at least I'll be getting off on the right foot. Any ideas where someone closing in on 30 can go for training? I think the days of NYU are gone - too many 18-22 yr olds. I'm interested in all constructive opinions & thanks for your help!

we all have "buttons", we wear them on our shoulders for everyone to see, by identifing your buttons, knowing them, you can avoid allowing people to push them. myself personally, i keep mine in my pocket! they are harder for someone to push that way...{i work with kids, and they will find your buttons the fastest}
develope a response{a brain dead response if need be} to deal with folks when they do push your buttons...

I was very well trained in ballet for 12 years. I was about to go on pointe when I quit to make time for other sports. Recently I've been really missing ballet and wanting to go on pointe! I have been practicing a lot of the stuff we used to learn in training, and I am still strong enough to do it all. I think i'm ready to buy pointe shoes...

The reason for this question is the idea that many view same sex marrages as breeding pools for perverted values. Why can Jehovah's witnesses be allowed to raise there children there way with no intervention but same sex couples be so discriminated against, we should worry more of the well being of the childrens health not the social medium to which they are raised.(Jehovah's witnesses refuse medical intervention because they feel it goes against the will of God, ie no penicillin or antibiotics.)
