If so, what were they? How open to new ideas are we? How willing are we to give up old ideas?

in the last year huh?...
I'm getting old here, it gets hard to do these things with age, we become "set" in our ways{lmao}....but yes indeed i have and i will continue too., this is growth in wisdom...i try to do it once a week...

although i can't say i discarded an old one, i like to keep um around for reference!

new thought.....belief,fact or idea,{for this week}
80% of ADHD children are misdiagnosed....{they now have the ability to scan the brain for adhd}...most of the misdiagnosed children are actually just ANGRY!, anger causes over 4000 physiological changes in our bodies when we are angry, over 100 chemical changes happen...
o2 is the BEST remedy, exercise, go for a walk, BREATHE!!!

and i{just me} CAN make a difference to that angry child....
the question for these children is NOT when will they get OVER being angry...
but how will they learn to live with it?

when we get angry or if someone we know is angry the first question should be...what are you afraid of? anger is a result of fear.

I gave up the idea that our government works.

I have adopted the ideas of new-tribalism (read "Ishmael" and other books by Daniel Quinn). Our civilization will come to an end, and I am ready and prepared to function in a world where one must hunt for one's food; a world where the nicities and comforts of iPods, microwaves, and the Internet will not be an integral part of life (it hasn't happend yet, and the internet is a useful tool for spreading awareness--but the tool is a corruptive influence of life, just like cable tv, instant messenger, and news media outlets).

Being a manager sucked for me and I quit doing it two months ago. I'm unemployed, broke and my revelation is: Being broke has helped me get healthy. I can't afford to drink and smoke these days. My packs of cigs go a long way now. Also, the money I earned didn't make up for all the medication I had to take to do that job.

I'm also back in college for the third time (part of the reason I'm broke) I'm finishing finally! Jeez, just ten years after high school. I guess it's never too late, eh?

I now fully accept that Jerry Garcia is dead. I was in denial of this for a long time. I guess I still believe the spirit lives in the records but Ive now completely lost hope of seeing the Dead again intact

I've embraced a new thought......that people you truly think you can be trusted, is not really true .... and I'm not too happy about that revelation.
