Ok i'm a gay male and he's str8 we hook-up some times and do a few things for each other (that normal friends shouldn't do) but i'm starting to really love him & it's getting to that point to where I just grab him sometimes. I have recently applied and I've wanted to go to CAL for as long as I can remember. I am:
- a California Resident
- GPA 4.275 (weighted) 4.0 (unweighted)
- Valedictorian of my class (with most rigorous schedual offered)
- 1950 on the SAT
- 30 on the ACT
- SAT II scores of 770 and 690
- Extracurricular Activities (AcaDec Captain, Marching Band Drum Major, 4 year Varsity swimmer, School Lit. Magazine Editor)
- Leadership Programs (Boys' State, HOBY, Camp ROYAL, a local superior court leadership program)
- Summer Volunteer Work (Hospital, Library)
- Seasonal Work (Swim Camp Instructor)

Any ( but hopefully good) feedback will ease my troubled soul. :]

I got a tattoo on the side of my right foot two weeks ago, and although it looks fantastic, it hasn't begun to scab or peel at all. Should I be worried? I've been taking great care of it, no shoes or socks, kept it moisturized, ect, but everything I've read about tats mentions scabbing and peeling after about three or four days. Is this normal for foot tattoos?

Tonight we were talking with friends about the differences in being a child today, than 20 - 30 or more years ago.

I was allowed to come home from school alone at 9 yrs. old. We were always outside and our parents were almost never with us. We were always playing near a creek and pond. We didn't have computers or video games to entertain us, yet we were always busy and rarely in trouble (we were far from perfect, but were never in serious trouble).

What did you do that you wouldn't let your own children do?

It talks about how scientists say that while there are differing theories on how it works, that the existence of parallel universes is a valid theory. I just KNEW it! Everytime I have that unexplicable craving for green salsa and chips, it's not me, it's my parallel person! lol

Seriously though, if this theory is ever (say 500,000 years from now) found to be absolutely true and we do discover there are people just like us living parallel lives to us, what do you think this does to our concepts of God?

Or, for Atheists, does this change your outlook on the possibility that death is but a doorway to a parallel universe?
