I think that word is thrown around WAY too loosely today.

Sure, there are those who go about 'courtship' in a very wrong way, but I also think there many people, (usually women), who use it in the wrong context.

Sexual attraction is Normal, guys. I've noticed even when it's subtle & not rude, some say "perv' or 'pervy'.

My boyfriend was at my house last night and we was snuggled up on the sofa.

I looked on his phone and I saw about 4 or 5 pictures of his ex girlfriend posing.
I asked him about it and stuttering he quikly came out with i told you she wasn't my girlfriend i was only seeing her and My best mate sent me them accidently.

I think he was lieing why would his best mate have pics of his ex anyway ??
Also after his best mate sent the first picture of his ex girlfriend i would of thought he would of stopped accepting the rest and deleted it.

I don't know if this is a natural occurence, but I saw it, and it was stunning. On the day of December 29, 2007, at around 3:30 AM (GMT+8, Manila), me and my cousins were just finishing up our game of poker at my rest house in the suburbs, when I decided to walk around our yard while smoking. Anyway, I looked up in the night sky, and there was this big, cleared-out, perfect circular "hole", and the moon was right smack dab in the middle! It's like, imagine a bowl, turn it upside down so that the concave faces you, and the moon is right in the middle. It was relatively hazy that night (but there were no rain clouds). The most puzzling thing is that, if it was just a blanket of cloud that was seemingly cleared out by the moon rays, then why, when a high-flying aircraft crossed this "hole" with its tail emitting a smoke trail, the perfect circle hole was not ruined at all? Is there an explanation for this "phenomenon" if I can call it one? Thanks. :)- reypasco818, Manila, Philippines

I want to buy a mac, and have already found that lots of software on a PC, won't work on macs.
and please don't refer to the fact of microsoft robbing apple, we all know what happened and now think hard,
and I don't want to buy extra hardware, I know VMWare already, so ya.

What are some software that exist on a PC's can't be emulated on a mac?

... and I've never been committed to a serious relationship ever. I mean I never had a girl friend my entire life. I did took my chance on four girls, and none of them ever said yes to me. i was always known for being NOT serious, and I am a very hilarious guy. I checked the jameshardie website too see what kind of nails I should use on the vertical hardiplank that I am about to put up, but the website did not say what kind of nails should be used for the vertical hardiplank.
It says what kind of nails should be used for the hardiplank lapsiding, but not for the vertical siding. Can somebody please tell me what kind of nails or screws I should use?

. . .tend to hold up the most extreme examples of another person's religious beliefs as being representative of the entire group? I'm thinking of things like the "Muslim terrorist," the "amoral atheist," or the "fundamentalist Christian" stereotypes.

Is it human nature to find the worst examples of a group and use them to prove your point that "all those worthless (fill in the blank) are like that"?

Or are people's debating and logic skills so weak these days that they have to resort to mud-slinging and generalization to 'prove' their point?

It was kind of weird. In the summer my friend and I went to this camp in Standish. We went to this teen dance with our new friends and this 13 year old guy named Josh took her to the dance. Using my present broadband modem, I have 2 computers and a landline telephone in use all at once. I changed to a cheaper system and found I could only use one computer at a time. The phone is out of service also. It never occurred that this would happen. I'm stuck with this contract for 18 months now.

Lets say prayer works (full disclosure: I don't believe for a minute that it does). But, help me understand this point.

If god is already involved and influencing world events, does prayer convince him to change things from the way they are going?

Was he going to get involved in an event in a certain manner (or not get involved), but the amount of prayer he received changed his mind?

Was he going to allow a person to die, but the amount of "email"/prayer he received convinces him otherwise?

Does he only get involved and change things when "public opinion" is strong enough? What is the threshold for his getting involved?

Really, I don't mean to be trite, but if prayer works is it like lobbying a congressman. Doesn't god already know what he's doing and have a plan. Does he require reminding of certain events - or nagging to get him to act?

Honestly, if god exists, the prayer thing doesn't really make sense does it?
