They are really scrapping the barrel.
Now, we see that even footnotes are part of their inspired Scripture! How pathetic when one feed on the husk!
I believe every word, and including the practical application of Rev 22:19 to any translators. Remember, Jehovah God who is Holy, is not a respector of man. Even His apostle went to hell, like one as Judas Iscariot. May God have mercy upon us all

FINALLY you actually pick up the New World Translation and read it for yourself!! Hurray!
Wait- this is from another of those sites, right?
Anyone who has actually held the NWT in their own hands runs across verses that have dashes in them. This is why;
"Those verses, found in some translations, are not in the oldest available Bible manuscripts. Comparison with other modern translations, such as The New English Bible and the Catholic Jerusalem Bible, shows that other translators have also recognized that the verses in question do not belong in the Bible. In some instances, they were taken from another part of the Bible and added to the text being copied by a scribe."
If you use the Reference Bible, it shows those verses in the footnotes and mention which manuscripts omit the particular verse.
In this case the footnote at Acts 8:37 says
P45,74אABCVgSyp omit vs 37; ItVgcArm, “Philip said to him: ‘If you believe with all your heart, it is permissible.’ In reply he said: ‘I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.’ ”
"P45,74אABCVgSyp omit vs 37; ItVgcArm" being the manuscripts used. Bible scholars understand the shorthand used here.
To answer your secondary question- no one burns in hell, if you actually did read your Authorised Version, you'd realise that there is no burning hell.
TRY HARDER!!!
EDIT:Thanks for those examples, Rebekah, my Russian Bible does not have it either.

The NWT has a number of "missing verses." They do not appear in the oldest and most reliable Bible manuscripts.
It's too bad that you only picked up a NWT to try and point out errors. If you sit down and actually read it, you will benefit yourself greatly.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day so even the RCC does have some use.
Also I did read Acts 8:37. Have you read Acts 15:34 or 19:32?
I wonder, would you prefer the Bible stayed in individual 66 books and letters in the original Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic? How would you read them? Or would you not bother? Leaving it to someone else to tell you what they say?
Fortunately, God is not so petty. He is perfectly capable of saving His Word through the centuries and making sure humans of all types can read and understand. Most of us are glad for it.

The most authoritative ancient manuscripts do not have anything at that verse, so quality translations do not include the seemingly spurious text in the main body. Of course, New World Translation does include the entire text in a footnote:
[quote]
Philip said to him: ‘If you believe with all your heart, it is permissible.’ In reply he said: ‘I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.’ ”
[end quote]
Here is Acts 8:37 from several reputable translations:

The name Jehovah was also taken from a catholic monk by the name of Raymundus Martini in Spain in The 12th century, as also they are like the catholic church, divine leaders that some claim to be prophets, confession just done in different ways. You only need to confess in Jesus Christ not a man. Putting something into that bible and taking something out, it is better that the person not be born at all according to the scriptures.
