Well, they should have the characteristics like honest, trustworthy, gentle/kind, someone who appreciates you for who you are and doesn't use you, someone who cares, and loves you just the way you are.

Stop right there. If you are looking for a guy to take care of you be up front with them. I can tell you I will share the duties of life with a women, but I will in no way 100 percent take care of them. If I find out that is their intention I will be upset. Just say you are looking for a sugar daddy.

Well whichever qualities you feel are desirable, which varies from each individual. It helps if he is similar to you but as they say opposites attract. I personally would like honesty in a man, a sense of humour and who is sensitive but you need to do some looking before you find the right one, it doesn't always work out straight away. If you're looking for a man to 'take care of you' then you need someone who is sensitive and loyal. Good luck.

Don't 'look' for the guy, he'll just come along one day and you'll know.
And please don't ever create the Perfect Man in your head, because you'll never find him! You'll always be disappointed. I'm also not going to list qualities I like about my husband, because we are all different and we probably like different types of people.
There are a few golden rules though - don't ever put up with a man that makes you uncomfortable and doesn't respect you. Make sure you can respect him - that's a good starting point.

I can't tell you what to look for in a guy you have to make your own choice it's your life.
Here is what i look for:
Funny
Nice Body
Loves me
Sticks up for me
Treats me right
Doesnt bore me
and is just everything to me and i dont want to spend a day without you will know when you have found them.

Someone who has a great sense of humor and knows how to make you laugh. If you know how to laugh even through the hard times than you'll have a much better life and a better relationship

you shouldn't be looking for someone to "take care of you". You should be looking for someone who can take care of themselves and be part of a team with you. I look for gainful employment (because YOU don't want to be a caretaker), someone who respects you, and someone you are physically attracted to.
