I want to buy my friend a rifle scope for his .22 but I want to get a better one than just the walmart brand. I see that Simmons is good, but what specs to buy? Not sure what the 4 x 32 and 3 x 9 x 40 means. It would be used mostly for target practice and very occasional hunting.

Living w/ Roommate, changing job location....would it be wrong to move?
So, I recently moved in with my friend of about 10 years (on and off), we've been living together for about 2 months now and I'm already realizing that I'm not really liking the situation as much as I thought I would. I love having her as a friend and hanging out but she just expects me to spend so much time with her....it pushes me away sort of. I mean, she gets upset when I spend the weekend at my boyfriends house, that's odd in my book....

Anyways, my current job is moving, very soon, and it is farther from my apartment....that on top of the complications of living together are pushing me towards the idea of moving....would that be wrong? Would subletting my apartment out be wrong?

I'm not making any decisions now, I just want to know if I'm completely crazy about even thinking aboug moving.

Is it rude to move/sublet your apartment after living with your roommate for only 2 months? Should I just suck it up and accept that this is part of being an adult?

Help please!

Here's my experience trying to get my wireless card D-Link-G132 working with linux. First let me tell you that the DWL-G132 is one of the most powerful & expensive wireless card on the market. You will imagine it will be supported by linux ??:)

I download Ubuntu 7.10. But bizarrely won't ask for a root password during the installation.
The card was not supported after battling for 3 hours. Tried Ndiswrapper 1.51 amd Madwifi. Not working. Also could not go to the "SU" I bet you have an idea why??LOL

Tried Mandriva 8 came very close to get it working. But it failed
Mandriva does not allow the "make install" of ndiswrapper 1.51. Why? No idea. I had no issue with Fedora 8 to make install.

Finally tried Fedora 8. The reboot of Fedora 8 was full of errors but finally loaded. Fedora 8 had about 25 wireless cards but of course mine was not supported.
Tried to install Ndisrapper however The Kernel shows errors. Linux STOP Copying Windows and make WIRELESS FRIENDLY. .God.

Put aside your notions of what is "correct" for just a moment, what is dictated as "bad" by society, what is acceptable to others and consider the following...

If we can love two children, perhaps differently as they are different, but surely treat them fairly and it be REAL love...

If we can love both parents, again tho we might enjoy a different relationship with each...

If we can have more than one close friend, and enjoy different things in common...

Then why is it so impossible to imagine that one might have a romatic love for more than one person at the same time? Is love a finite resourse?

Have you ever loved more than one person and felt you DID not have to choose? Especially if single and you had no reason to? Why do people find this so impossible? So offensive? Such an emotional topic?

This is not a question of whether Bonds is an asshole and Clemens is a nice guy. I am simply asking that if evidence does point out he used performance-enhancing drugs, should he be treated the same way as Bonds. While Clemens’ name stood hidden from the media for so long, Bonds has had to endure much criticism. Although Roger Clemens has been one of my idols since 1995—I was 14 years old at the time—I do not think the Rocket should be treated any different because he is white. Does anyone agree with the point that I am trying to make?

all primes can be divided by themselves e.g 5/5 = 0, 3/3 = 0, so they have a prime factor.
And all composite numbers have at least one prime factor e.g 9/3 = 3

so 1 is kinda weird, is this right?
