Hello everyone.
Finally my immature 50year old husband left today for the second time to Europe, this time he sai for good. He left the divorce procedure up to me. We were married for two years and it was a second marriage for both of us. He is a nice man, but has drinking habbits, a big ego, and is very stubborn and won't change his ways. I on my end, never saw myself as a doormat, so I won't put up with him. All our talks to save this marriage didn't help.
At the end we both cried, kissed and he asked not to give up yet. I think he is trying to teach me a lesson, by leaving me during the Christmas time. Well I am too old for that.I love him, but I don't want to waste my remaining years arguing and fighting, life is too short. The way his behivior is "Never say Never, meaning we might have another chance. I am wondering should I keep in touch with him, or be strong and move on with my life? I am hurt, devastated, please any feedback will be very helpfull

I'm interested in becoming a gestational surrogate. Right now I'm in college and know that I don't want any children of my own. However, I feel like I would be a wonderful gestational surrogate for a family that can not carry their own child. Many of the sites I've been doing research on mention that in order to be considered as a gestational surrogate, you must have a child of your own. The baby wouldn't have any of my DNA so I feel like I wouldn't be attached to the point that I couldn't give the child to the Intended Parents.

Does it matter if it is done through an agency or if it arranged privately?

If anyone has additional information about the process, I would appreciate a link to those sites as well.

Children and Adults on this abundant planet are dying of starvation as I type this. The majority of the worlds population do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. We have the resources to rectify this. Can we develop the goodwill and systems of stewardship to end poverty or are we just to selfish to bother?

My biggest peeve with my last digital camera (Canon Powershot A100) is that it couldn't take good pictures unless the lighting was perfect. If it was too bright, the pictures would be washed out. If it was too dim (e.g. even in a well-lit room), the pictures would be grainy. When the flash was set to auto mode, it sometimes wouldn't make the best "decision" (i.e. it would flash, the picture would look like crap, and I'd manually disable the flash and get a decent shot). Taking night shots wasn't even a remote possibility.

What good, reliable camera models are better able to adapt to and take good pictures in a variety of lighting conditions? I also want a camera with decent resolution, optical zoom, and that can take macros. My shots are almost always scenic, so whether or not it can take action shots doesn't matter. I never take videos either.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This year I had to buy some very expensive tools to use in dental hygiene school. Can I somehow claim them on my taxes? If so, up to how much can I claim? Where do I claim them on my taxes?
(I spent about $1,200 on dental tools, and $1,500 on books)

I am a size 2 in jeans if I want them a little tight, and a size 4 if I want them loose, but when I bought DKNY jeans lately I was a size 28 which I guess translates to a size 7/8, and they were a little tight. 29's which could be more like a size 10 even fit well. How can I be a size 2 and a size 10? Most of my pants are either 2 and 4, and now all of a sudden I'm wearing DKNY jeans that tranlate to a 10? The 2's still fi so I haven't grown. I'm just curious.

Ok well I really cant focus on more than one thing at a time. It would be a useful ability but very hard to accomplish. At least for me it is. I need to take my time and focus on only one person or task at that particular moment.
