Are Minolta still making cameras?

No, Minolta is not making cameras. They sold those assets to Sony.

The Sony DSLRs continue the Minolta heritage and will accept Minolta autofocus lenses.

They were taken over by Sony but i do believe that sony does accept Minolta lenses made awhile back.
