I'm a Senior Warden in my home Blue Lodge in the States, but in February I'll be visiting a Lodge in Ukraine that does its work in Ukrainian. This is the first time I'll be visiting a Lodge outside my own Grand Lodge and I will have a letter of introduction from my Grand Secretary. Master Masons, what suggestions do you have for me to get the most out of the experience?

Listen to your hosts and don't try to offer information unless asked. (I made this mistake, I was honestly trying to share information but is was taken the wrong way.)

Be prepared for different customs and ritual. In some lodges the dinner afterwards or prior is "mandatory".

Most of all, have fun!

Make sure your Grand Secretary says the Lodge in the Ukraine is regular, recognized and in amity with your Grand Lodge...

Also, take something with you to give them as a token - maybe your Blue Lodge has a Lodge penny or something like that...

Enjoy!
